Used Books Everywhere! And Yes, Also Upstairs!

The Courtyard is proud to house the area's largest collection of used, rare, and out-of-print books. We have thousands of titles in most genres including the latest in popular fiction, romance, mystery, scifi/fantasy, horror, true crime, self-help, westerns, sports, cookbooks, children's, nonfiction, and classics.

Paperbacks and hardcovers can be purchased for half of the publisher's price or less. Best of all, The Courtyard continues a long history of exchanging your books for ours, and our books for yours! It still works out to be half-price or less and will be fully explained upon your arrival. It's an awesome way to recycle and escape at the same time! 

If the title you're searching for isn't on our shelves, we can order it at the lowest possible price, with payment in advance. If it's out there, we can usually find it and are happy to do so.

Adding to the fun, we also have audio books for rent. Your CDs can be traded by bringing in one for three free rentals. Books on tape are available for rent or purchase, but not for exchange.

 Please be advised that we accept books based on our customers' needs and though we would love to take everything, we cannot always do so. Books you have purchased from us, or traded earlier are not automatically accepted, but you can always check back. Thanks again!
